      MACq 01 Hotel places Tasmanian history at the center of the guest experience. Each of the 114 rooms is named after a real Tasmanian character-heroes, villains, explorers, convicts, and inventors. The rooms are divided into five character traits, with corresponding color tones, design cues, and décor that change accordingly.

The on-site Evolve Spirits Bar offers Tasmania's largest private fossil collection and a vast assortment of Tasmanian whisky and gin. MACq 01 also offers an exclusive gin experience inspired by iconic Tasmanians.
